What we collect

When you use CareerShield, we collect your first name and email address (which you provide voluntarily). We also collect your career assessment inputs (job title, industry, skills, experience level, location, and career concern) to generate your personalised Career Resilience Score.

How we use your data

• To generate your personalised AI career resilience analysis
• To subscribe you to the Shola's Tech Notes newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To tag your subscription with your score tier so we can send relevant career resilience content
• To aggregate anonymised data for career resilience insights (no personal information is included)

AI processing

Your career assessment inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate a personalised resilience analysis. No personally identifiable information (name or email) is sent to the AI model — only your anonymised career details (job title, industry, skills, experience, location, and concern).

Third-party services

• Beehiiv — newsletter platform (stores your email and name)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis generation (receives anonymised career data only)
• Vercel — hosting and analytics

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To request deletion of your data, email olusholaoladipupo1@gmail.com.

Data retention

Your assessment results are stored in your browser's session storage and are cleared when you close the browser tab. We do not store individual assessment results on our servers. Your email and name are retained by Beehiiv as part of your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Cookies

This site uses sessionStorage (not cookies) to store your assessment progress temporarily. No tracking cookies are used. Vercel Analytics may collect anonymous usage data.
